Grammy-winning singer Adam Schlesinger passes away due to coronavirus

Adam Schlesinger, the Grammy and Emmy-winning singer and songwriter best known for rock band Fountains Of Wayne, passed away after contracting the novel coronavirus. 52-year-old Adam was the bass player and co-songwriter of 90’s band Fountains Of Wayne, delivering hits such as Stacy’s Mom and Hey Julie. Actor Tom Hanks mourned his death on Twitter and wrote that he was "terribly sad" after hearing the news.
