Modi Government plans to confer the title 'Daughter of the Nation' to legendary playback singer Lata Mangeshkar. Sources say Modi is a huge fan of Lataji's voice. She will be officially designated with the title on her 90th birthday i.e Sept 28. Poet-lyricist Prasoon Joshi has already written a special song for the occasion. The title is a tribute to her contribution to Indian film music industry for 7 decades.
