Mumbai court quashes suit by Gangubai Kathiawadi's son against biopic by Sanjay Leela Bhansali starring Alia Bhatt

A Mumbai court today dismissed the suit filed by Babuji Shah, the alleged adopted son of Gangubai Kathiawadi, against Sanjay Leela Bhansali, his production house and lead actress Alia Bhatt. For the uninitiated, Bhansali is making a biopic based on the life of Gangubai Kathiawadi in which Alia Bhatt plays the titular role of the brothel owner.
