Postmortem report reveals Sushant Singh Rajput died of asphyxiation due to hanging

The Cooper Hospital in Mumbai released an advance certificate on Monday after Sushant Singh Rajput's postmortem and cited asphyxia due to hanging as the cause of his death in the report. Sushant's body was taken for postmortem after he was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14 in an apparent suicide. His viscera samples have been preserved for chemical analysis and will be sent to the forensic science laboratory.
