SP Jananathan, National-award winning director, passes away at 61

National Award-winning director SP Jananathan passed away today, after undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai. The director suffered a brain haemorrhage. SP Jananathan was working on the editing of his latest film Laabam, and his assistants had visited him at his residence and found the filmmaker unconscious. SP Jananathan is known his films like Iyarkai, E, Peranmai and Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai.
