Todd Phillips in talks to direct 'Joker' sequel

Todd Phillips directed and Joaquin Phoenix starrer 'Joker' created history becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film with a 1 billion dollar box office number. According to the latest reports, Todd has the rights for at least one more DC story and the director is in talks to helm the sequel to ‘Joker’ as well. He and Scott Silver, who also penned the screenplay for 'Joker', will be writing the follow-up story.
