Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan honoured with Dada Saheb Phalke Award

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has been awarded the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Awards for his splendid contribution to the Indian Cinema. President Ram Nath Kovind presented the Award to Mr. Bachchan. The actor was accompanied by wife Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan at the ceremony. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar had informed about the news earlier only and had also congratulated the megastar for the honour.
