Veteran Bengali actor Soumitra Chatterjee dies at 85 in Kolkata

Iconic Bengali actor Soumitra Chatterjee died in Kolkata on Sunday. He breathed his last at 12:15 pm at Belle Vue Clinic today. The 85-year-old Dadasaheb Phalke awardee had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Kolkata's Belle Vue Clinic Hospital for almost 40 days. He was admitted to the hospital on October 6 after being diagnosed with coronavirus.
