YouTube introduces originals to take on Netflix and Amazon

Streaming services like Amazon Prime, Netflix and Hotstar have become hugely popular in India and following the trend, YouTube is also betting big on the country. YouTube has started rolling out YouTube originals which is a subscription-based ad-free service. YouTube hasn't announced the date of launch in India yet but the service has already been piloted with 2 sports-based shows Breakfast with Champions and What the Duck.
