114 more Maharashtra Police personnel test positive for coronavirus in past 24 hours

As many as 114 police personnel have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Maharashtra and one officer died in the past 24 hours. With a surge in cases, the total number of Covid-19 infected cops in the state has mounted to 2,325. A total of 26 police officials have lost their lives due to the pandemic. Maharashtra on Friday recorded the highest number of deaths in a single day after 116 more people succumbed to the disease.
