131 CAs denied allegations of govt misleading official data

It was being alleged that the government was misleading the official data but a group of 131 chartered accountants on Monday has denied the allegations, reaffirming faith on govt statistics. They said that international agencies like the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund too have confirmed the data given by govt agencies. CAs said data revisions are part of practice to balance timeliness & accuracy.
