15 Bangladeshis with criminal records among Seelampur rioters: Report

In a major revelation in the violent Seelampur protests that turned into a riot last month, a special investigating team (SIT) probing the December 20 violence has found the involvement of at least 15 Bangladeshis with criminal records. Some of these Bangladeshis were reportedly arrested in burglary cases previously. The SIT will now probe the source of funds for the protests which it believes had a foreign source.
