150 girls of gurukul school forced to get their hair chopped for saving water

150 girls of Tribal girl gurukul school were forced to get their hair chopped in order to save water in Telangana. School principal K Aruna was accused of this act. The principal called two barbers, and the girls had to pay Rs.25 forcibly for this. The district administration and welfare department have initiated an inquiry against the principal. The principal said that this move was done to ensure hygiene.
