15,000 jobs to be generated from BrahMos missile manufacturing unit in UP

The Brahmos missile manufacturing unit that is planned to be set up at the Defence Corridor in Uttar Pradesh, will generate as many as 15,000 jobs in the state. 500 engineers and technicians will be directly employed by Brahmos Aerospace whereas nearly 5,000 people will get indirect employment. 10,000 more people will get jobs with the establishment of ancillary units related to the defence industry.
