Case over missing court fee of Rs 312 went on for 41 years

A court case that was filed in 1977 due to a missing court fee slip of Rs 312 in the year 1975, went on till 31st August 2018. Ganga Devi, a resident of Mirzapur was fighting a case over a disputed property which she won. When the court asked her to pay Rs 312 she did so, but forget to attach the slip and the case against her was filed. Finally, the error was found, but Ganga Devi passed away in 2005.
