17-year-old UP girl shoots self after getting scolded by mother for not studying

In a tragic incident, a 17-year-old girl from Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh shot herself with an unlicensed revolver at her residence in Bajpur Maan village after her mother scolded her for not studying. "The family said she was not under mental stress and had no existing medical conditions. A probe has been ordered,” a police officer said. The girl shot herself in the abdomen and died during treatment.
