2nd October onward, single use plastic will be banned in the premises: IRCTC

Indian Railways has announced to keep the trains and the premises clean, and for that, from 2nd October onward, single-use plastic will be completely banned. The Railway board has issued a circular to all regional offices to ensure the removal of all single-use plastics from the premises. For this, more bottle crushing machines will be provided. Last year, plastic bottle crushing machines were installed at 2,000 stations.
