500 coastal villages evacuated in Gujarat ahead of cyclone Vayu

After the warning was issued about the cyclone Vayu, the Gujarat govt evacuated over 500 villages in the coastal region, and over 2.15 lakh people have been shifted to the shelters. Also, from today midnight, the police will start patrolling the vulnerable areas, as informed by GRD additional chief secretary Pankaj Kumar. Further, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi has asked party workers to be prepared for helping people.
