54,000 people across country under community surveillance: Health Minister tells Rajya Sabha amid Coronavirus outbreak

Health Minister Harsh Vardhan told Rajya Sabha on Tuesday while lauding efforts of doctors and paramedics in dealing with cases of coronavirus, that nearly 54000 people have been kept under community surveillance across the country to counter the spread of the pandemic. The opposition also lauded the efforts of the government and the medical staff. He also said that ICMR scientists are in touch with scientists all over the world.
