5.8 magnitude earthquake hits Peru's capital

Peruvian capital Lima was shaken by a strong earthquake on Tuesday. According to Peru's Seismological Center, the earthquake was magnitude 6. However, the US Geological Survey said the earthquake was magnitude 5.8. However, no casualties or damage were reported in the incident. The earthquake struck at 9:54 pm local time and the epicenter was recorded 33 kilometers southwest of Mala, at a depth of 32 kilometers.
