The study, conducted by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), revealed that if present emission levels continue to grow, the global temperatures might prolong transmission seasons for 2 months for malaria and 4 months for dengue over the next 50 years. If greenhouse gas emissions continue unchecked, more than 8 billion people might be in danger of malaria and dengue fever by 2080.
