99-year-old former World War II fighter Ermando Armelino Piveta has recovered from coronavirus and left the Armed Forces Hospital in Brasilia after being treated for the coronavirus and was discharged on April 14. Piveta was admitted to hospital on April 6 and was treated at the hospital COVID ward, reserved for the positive cases. He was brought out of hospital with trumpet music and applause.
