A rare find: New species of primate, which is already endangered, identified in Myanmar

Scientists have identified a new species of primate. Popa langur, a lithe tree-dweller living in the central Myanmar forests with a mask-like face framed by a shock of unruly grey hair. It has been around for at least a million years as per a study. As only 200-250 are left in the wild today, experts recommend that the leaf-eating species is deemed as critically endangered. The reclusive monkeys were clicked in 2018.
