"A sovereign decision on part of Indian government": US on India disallowing Chinese firms from 5G trials

United States has said that India's decision to disallow Chinese firms from taking part in the 5G trials in India is a "sovereign decision". State Department Spokesperson Ned Price, when asked about the decision, said it "was a sovereign decision on the part of the Indian government." He further said, "it is true that we are deeply concerned about the dangers of installing networks with equipment that can be manipulated."
