A volley of rockets hit near the US embassy at Baghdad

A volley of rockets landed near the US embassy at Baghdad on Sunday. AFP reporters heard loud thuds emerging from the western bank of the Tigris. This is the area where most foreign embassies are located. One security source stated that three Katyusha rockets hit near the high-security compound while another said as many as five struck the area. However, it was informed that there was no immediate word on casualties.
