Aadhaar Number mandatory to get govt benefits and subsides: UIDAI

According to a recent circular issued by the UIDAI, if you don't have an Aadhaar number or enrolment slip, you may not be entitled to avail government subsidies and benefits. The UIDAI issued a circular to all central ministries and state governments last week. This circular is issued on August 11 to tighten the Aadhaar rules for those who don't have an Aadhaar number and are availing of the subsidies and benefits provided by the government.
