About 6000 dead globally due to COVID-19; Italy worst-hit after China

The latest spike in number of deaths in Spain due to coronavirus has pushed the global toll to more than 6,000 according to an AFP tally. The worldwide death toll rose to 6,036 with 1,59,844 infections after 105 died in Spain. China still remains the country with the most deaths with 3,199. However, the pandemic COVID-19 is now rapidly spreading more in Europe, with 1,907 deaths in its worst-hit nation Italy.
