After banning Twitter, government of Nigeria joins India-made Koo

Days after banning the micro-blogging platform Twitter over the deletion of President Muhammadu Buhari's post, the government of Nigeria has joined the India-based platform, Koo. Koo was launched in Nigeria after the banning of Twitter. Nigeria's Information and Culture Minister Lai Mohammed said Twitter has approached the government for dialogue to resolve the issues. "Twitter must be licensed in Nigeria," Mohammed said.
