Air Marshal Manavendra Singh takes charge as Southern Command Chief of IAF

Air Marshal Manavendra Singh took charge as the new commander in chief of the Indian Air Force's Southern Air Command on Tuesday. Air Marshal Singh has served the Airforce for over 38 years and has held numerous command and positions. He has also commanded the Indian Airforce peacekeeping contingent in Bukavu in Congo. He was commissioned in the flying branch of the Indian Air Force on December 29, 1982.
