Amartya Sen says opposition unity is important for any kind of protest

Nobel laureate Amartya Sen on Monday stressed on the need for opposition unity in India to protest against a cause. But, he said, even if there was no unity, protests must continue. “For any kind of protest, opposition unity is important,” Sen told media personnel when asked about the protests against the CAA, NPR, and NRC. He further added that protests become easier if the opposition is united for a proper cause.
