Amid the rising concerns of espionage rackets and cyberattacks by China, the National Security Commission in the United States has directed American universities to take necessary steps to prevent sensitive technology and university research from being stolen by China. The agencies in the United States have beefed up the security around the sensitive information after at least five Chinese researchers were arrested last year.
