An endangered Vulture species that was last seen 20 years ago, spotted in Hyderabad

A vulture species that is on the verge of extinction was spotted in Hyderabad; it was last seen 20 years back. A white-rumped vulture was rescued in dehydrated condition at Asifnagar crossroads. The bird has been sent to the zoo & is kept under observation. A few stray dogs attacked the bird. As the vulture was a juvenile, the forest department thinks there might be a nesting site nearby & they are trying to locate the nest.
