Army denies CAG report that found shortage of winter clothing and equipment

The Indian Army has refuted the findings of the Comptroller and Auditor General pointing out deficiencies of winter clothing and equipment for high altitude areas. While responding to a parliamentary panel in respect to the findings of the CAG, the army headquarters said the shortage in reserves at the Army headquarters does not impact availability to troops. They added that special clothing for hilly areas is being stocked up.
