'Asked him to withdraw CAA and NRC': Mamata Banerjee after meeting with PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday evening amid protests against the amended citizenship act across the state capital. After the meeting, Mamata said she told the PM that Bengal is against citizenship law and NRC. She said she asked the PM to withdraw CAA and NRC. Protests had started in different parts of Kolkata hours before the Prime Minister’s arrival.
