Authors retract influential Lancet article that found HCQ increase the risk of death in Covid-19 patients

The use of Hydroxychloroquine in treating coronavirus patients has been a matter of discussion ever since Donald Trump promoted it and asked India to send it's supply. An influential medical journal article that found hydroxychloroquine increased the risk of death in COVID-19 patients was retracted on Thursday. Three of the authors of the article retracted it, citing concerns about the quality and veracity of data in the study.
