Bengal government to manufacture 'Banglar Rosogolla' for the first time

Following a bittersweet battle with the Odisha government over the origin of the famous Rosogolla, the Bengal government has decided that it will manufacture Bengal’s delectable Rosogolla (Rasgulla) with the help of Jadavpur University’s food technology department. The sweet will be manufactured by the animal resources development department of the state government and will be sold under the banner of the Mother Dairy Kolkata brand.
