A scuffle between hospital staff and the patient's family is a usual thing that happens in the hospital after a critical patient passes away. Such cases have increased manifold due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. To avoid this, hospitals in Bengaluru have hired bouncers to increase security. Police personnel come many times in a day. Upset relatives of patients try to go inside Covid wards or ICUs," Dr. HM Prasanna said.
