Bihar government to get technical support from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

The Bihar government has inked a memorandum of cooperation with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation under which, the departments of health, social welfare, agriculture, rural development, finance, and planning will receive technical support from the group. Hari Menon, the director of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, has said the foundation is honoured to "reduce the burden of disease and poverty by enabling livelihoods".
