BITS Pilani study says India may witness 7 million Covid cases by the first week of October

As India crossed 45 lakh mark of coronavirus cases, a team of researchers from BITS Pilani,Hyderabad said that the country may witness over seven million Covid cases by the first week of October, beating the US and emerging as the country with highest number of infections. While a data released by a national public health institute in the US said the number of infections in the North American country crossed six million as of Sept 8.
