Blockade returns in Assam-Mizoram border a week after resolution

A week after the resolution of a conflict that turned into a violent clash between the netizens of Assam and Mizoram, blockades have returned along the border. Locals from Assam have barred the entry of vehicles into Mizoram while demanding the withdrawal of Mizoram forces deployed in the Assam area. This has disrupted the supply chain of essentials as hundreds of trucks are stranded on National Highway 306.
