Boko Haram fighters pledge allegiance to Islamic State after death of group leader

In a worrying development for the security watchers across the world, several members of the Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram have pledged their allegiance to rival group the Islamic State West African Province. The Boko Haram fighters could be seen pledging their allegiance to fight for the Islamic State in a video. The development comes after the death of Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau last month.
