"Border confrontations spiralling into a larger conflict cannot be discounted": CDS Bipin Rawat on LAC situation

Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat said India will not move back an inch from its current position along the Line of Actual Control ahead of the 8th round of military talks between the two countries. The CDS said while the probability of a full-scale conflict with China is low, "border confrontations & transgressions spiralling into a larger conflict cannot be discounted.” The CDS said that the status-quo must be restored.
