A tourist shared her experience of being robbed in Rio de Janeiro, on her Instagram. Brazil’s national tourism board has ‘by mistake’ shared that post. However, they immediately took that post down and clarified how they are working hard to promote a nation-wide fall in crime in 2019. In the post, the user said how despite of being a beautiful city, that is not enough to ensure the safety of the tourists in Rio de Janeiro.
