BSF to be deployed along Mizoram Assam border, Mizoram to withdraw its forces

Mizoram and Assam have reached a settlement after the centre's intervention and Mizoram has decided to withdraw a section of its forces from the border with Assam. In place of Mizoram forces, the Border Security Force troops will be deployed along the border. Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla and the chief secretaries of Assam and Mizoram reached the conclusion after a meeting over the issue.
