Burning of Paddy crops declined by 41% in Punjab, Haryana, UP, Delhi-NCR

States of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi have declined burning of paddy crops. This will contribute to lowering of air pollution. Over 4500 villages of Punjab & Haryana have been declared as zero burning villages as per the govt reports. ICAR proudly stated that this was possible due to coordinated public and private efforts and challenges like these should be tackled the same way.
