Calling a woman, 'call girl' not abetment to suicide, says Supreme Court

A 2-judge bench of the SC that included Justices Indu Malhotra and R Subhash Reddy refused to interfere in a decision given by the Calcutta High Court which discharged a man and his parents accused of abetting a suicide. The court said that calling a woman 'call girl' is not abetment to suicide just like asking someone “to go and die” does not constitute an offence for abetment. The SC upheld the High Court's decision.
