Can cannabis mouth spray treat brain tumours?

Cancer organisations and the NHS in the United Kingdom are eager to see if a cannabis-based mouth spray will benefit patients with brain tumours. In a phase I trial in glioblastomas earlier this year, the medicine, which is already used to treat multiple sclerosis, was found to be tolerated in combination with chemotherapy, with the potential to extend survival. The Brain Tumour Charity is funding this research.
