CBI asks Facebook, Cambridge Analytica for details of data harvesting

CBI, who is carrying out the preliminary investigation against Cambridge Analytica, Facebook and Global Science Reseach for illegally harvesting personal data of Facebook's Indian users, has now written to these companies seeking details of data collection exercise carried out by them. CBI was assigned the investigation by Union Ministry in July to investigate the allegations against the social media platform.
