Cervical Cancer deaths, highest rate witnessed by India in 2018

As per a research paper which was published in The Lancet Global Health, India has recorded the highest number of cancer cervical deaths in FY 18-19. As per a worldwide analysis, China and India together contributed to the one-third global cervical cancer deaths in 2018. A total of 97,000 cases were recorded and 60,000 deaths. China had the highest number of cases and India had the highest estimated number.
