China continues putting journalists behind the bar at record pace: CPJ report

According to a report by the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), China continues its crackdown against the journalists in the country and it has arrested a record number of journalists this year as well amid the Covid19 pandemic. The report finds that China remained the world’s worst jailer for the second year in a row. As per the global survey, over 274 journalists have been put behind the bars till December 1.
